A French man destroyed all the iPhones in an Apple Store with a steel ball in fury as Apple “Refused to refund him”. Talking of Apple’s fabulous customer service, we have all been there. Keeping our patience , we have all endured something or other. This guy took it a little too far.
This morning, a discontented Apple customer walked into the Apple Store in Dijon, France, and began smashing iPhones worth thousands of pounds with a steel ball. Shouting “This is happening!”
He remained unidentified until after all the ruckus. We wore dark glasses and carried a steel ball that is used in a French game called Pétanque. The man seemed unusually calm while he removed display phones from their upright holders and shattered them one by one, moving to another counter as though strolling in a park.
The Individual, to report Apple’s reaction, contacted them. However, they refused to comment on the incident or its consequesnses. The damage was estimated to be of tens of thousands of euros.
The video below was filmed by a bemused customer who by chnace was present in the Apple Store when the incident took place this morning. The french man noticed that he was being filmed, he then explained his rationale of doing so facing the camera.
“Apple is a company that violated European consumers’ rights. They refused to reimburse me.
“I told them: ‘Give me my money back’. They said no.
“So you know what is happening? This is happening!“ The man shouted before smashing another iPhone.
A security guard is then seen hurrying towards the man from the the doors of the Apple Store. He attempts to run away before the guard catches him but, eventually, fails to do so.
