This certainly added up to the Apple vs Google ‘trend’ around nowadays. With the company’s Pixel phone out and its hordes of Android wearables, it can come up as a strong competent.
Apple Watch 3 Release Date
This was something we were able to figure out easily. Given the history of Apple releases, it is quite clear that the company is going to launch Apple watch 3 sometime in September 2017. However, according to some rumors possibly coming directly from inside the company, we can expect some new Apple watch models by during or after March 2017.
That would be new Apple watches, yes, plural, before Q4 2017. Apple is surely looking into any possible way it can increase its revenue after the unexpected downturn of Apple iPhone 7 sales. So that can be a compelling reason for an early release of the new Apple watch models. There’s a good chance these will include increased storage capacity.
Apple Watch 3- Are we getting any new features?
As many of you might already know, Apple watchOS 3 is for square watches only. Is it an indication that Apple is going to eliminate round shaped watches? Customers would surely like to have an option. However, there is a high chance that option would not be provided which might be a disappointment for users who prefer the shape. There have been no confirmations or further rumors regarding the chances.
Some new features which were previously seen in Apple’s phones, beginning from the first iPhone, have been added to its watches as well. We have always wondered if there could be any chance of a camera in the watches. Well, it seems that is about to turn into reality Apple’s patents have been an incredible information source providing data about the upcoming Apple wearables. one of which was about a selfie camera. Samsung Gear 2 could not pull the camera feature off that nicely. Apple, on the other hand, has great potential and wide popularity. Therefore, something great is expected there.
Are magnets kicking In?
Recently, an Apple patent revealed something particularly interesting, saying that Apple might be designing multi-function straps. How cool is that? And it does not end here- the patent shows a Magnetic Wristband with a strap that will attack to the watch’s body via magnets. Use it while you’re wearing the watch and roll the strap to create a stand after you take it off.
Apple is gradually rising above its reputation of tweaking some features and releasing a new update in the market due to obvious reasons. We can fairly expect a range of models, many colors and a choice of straps in the new Apple watch 3. If you want to go for the more simple-looking one you’ll definitely have to pay less. However, if you are one of the Apple fanatics who most probably will prefer something fancy, brace yourself to hand over some good amount of money to Apple.
Rumors suggest the introduction of 3D touch in Apple watch will happen quite soon. Also, one of the reasons can be that it was a possible feature for the Watch series 2. This will provide users with extra functionality and ease.
Apple will surely give us some nice surprises with its next watch. However, the costly nature of Apple products is something congenital. £369 for the 38mm and £399 for the 42mm one is the current price of the series 2. However, it may increase (and we think it definitely will) forwatch 3. Apple watch Series 1 will likely be discontinued in September 2017. This will cause an automatic drop in the series 2’s prices. Overall, we are expecting high price tag on the Apple watch 3. Though it seems the product will be worth it.
